Once harvested, this hemp is carefully processed and undergoes high-tech quality testing. The resulting standardized, premium quality CBD hemp oil is infused into every product we represent.

Certified CBD Oil
CBD is an acronym for cannabidiol, a prominent naturally-occurring cannabinoid component found in cannabis that comprises up to 40% of the plant. Cannabidiol is a cannabinoid “devoid of psychoactive effect.” After THC (Δ9-tetrahydrocannabinol), CBD is by far the most studied natural cannabinoid. According to many researchers, CBD may be the single most important cannabinoid ever discovered.

Is CBD Hemp Oil The Next Superfood?

Hemp is enjoying a 21st century renaissance. It is being rediscovered as a useful commodity and as a superior superfood. Both hemp and natural cannabinoids are making news headlines nationwide every day, but what is CBD hemp oil and is it right for you?

If this is the first time you’re hearing about industrial hemp-based cannabidiol (CBD) oil products, there’s a reason for that. Because no health claims or references to peer-reviewed studies can be made in the U.S. (due to federal regulations), there is a misconception that industrial hemp is the same as marijuana. It’s not, and word is just getting out.

People have used hemp, or industrial hemp, for thousands of years to make oils, fabric, rope and even food. And they’ve used marijuana for other purposes. The two are very different.

Hemp and marijuana are to cannabis as oranges and lemons are to citrus. Marijuana is grown for elevated levels of THC (the psychoactive part of cannabis), and ^CBD levels must be kept low. Hemp, on the other hand, is just the opposite. It has an abundance of ^CBD (which is not psychoactive like THC) and THC is almost non-existent.

The hemp oil that is produced by our special cultivars of industrial hemp is different than the hemp seed oil you find in grocery stores nationwide. We have found a way to grow hemp that makes a super hemp oil with much greater natural ^CBD content than grocery store varieties. We call this natural CBD hemp oil.

While natural CBD hemp oil may be a controversial superfood to some, we believe that the world is waking up to its many benefits. Scientists, doctors, and the general public are asking for more information about this natural constituent of the hemp plant — and we encourage you to conduct your own research, too.

The more you learn about ^CBD, the more you will understand why many consider it the biggest super compound of the 21st Century.

From Plant to Oil – Our Process.

Hemp is one of the most versatile plants on the planet. The industrial and commercial use has been essential throughout human history, and continues despite strict regulations governing its cultivation today.

Look around you. Hemp can be made into almost anything you see: paper, fabric, fiber, plastics and more. Carbon negative buildings can be made from hemp concrete and hemp particle boards. Hemp can even be used for biofuel and animal feed, with the potential to rapidly change our environment and our economy for the better.

Hemp (which is of the Cannabis genus) is colloquially called weed; this is because hemp grows in almost every climate, without need of any human intervention. Its tall, dense agricultural footprint makes hemp naturally resistant to invasive overgrowth, and its hardy nature enables farmers worldwide to grow the crop without the use of chemical fertilizers and pesticides. There is no need to genetically modify this robust plant, just as there would be no need to genetically modify a dandelion to assure its continued growth.

Grown as nature intended.

go green with cbd rich hemp productsDue to the lingering stigma surrounding cannabis cultivation, there is no organic certification process in place for hemp in the countries in which we grow or in the United States”at the date of this writing. However, our farmers have been farming their land for generations, and they ensure that our hemp is grown as it has been grown for thousands of years: without pesticides, herbicides, or chemical fertilizers. None of these chemicals are needed when cultivating what is a very robust, fast-growing, soil-re-mediating herb.

Our non-GMO hemp is grown in the European Union from certified EU seeds according to regulation (EU) No. 393/2013, Council Directive 2002/57/EC and Article 39(1) of Regulation (EC) No. 73/2009. This hemp oil is then processed using food-grade methods and imported to the United States under the Tariff Code 1515.90.80 (Harmonized Tariff Schedule of the United States, Section III [“Animal or vegetable fats and oils and their cleavage products prepared edible fats; animal or vegetable waxes”], Chapter 15). From there, our laboratory further tests, harmonizes and decarboxylates our oil to ensure a constistent product with every harvest.

What is CBD?

CBD is an abbreviation for cannabidiol, a prominent naturally-occurring cannabinoid component found in cannabis that comprises up to 40% of the plant. Cannabidiol is a cannabinoid devoid of psychoactive effect. After THC (Δ9-tetrahydrocannabinol), CBD is by far the most studied natural cannabinoid. According to many researchers, CBD may be the single most important cannabinoid ever discovered.

What is the endocannabinoid system?

The endocannabinoid system (ECS) is one of sciences newest and most exciting discoveries. The ECS regulates relaxation, eating, sleeping, certain inflammation responses and even cognitive function. There are two types of cannabinoid receptors found throughout the body (CB1 and CB2), but they are most abundant in the brain and immune system respectively. In a nutshell, your ECS is responsible for making sure your entire body is working optimally”no small task!

Why would hemp (instead of marijuana) be grown for cannabidiol (CBD)?

Industrial hemp is naturally high in CBD and naturally low in THC, whereas most marijuana is just the opposite (high THC, low CBD). Our industrial hemp is considered Cannabis sativa L., although we have developed our own unique cultivars of this particular type of industrial hemp.

Through a combination of these unique cultivars, advanced plant genetics, and cutting-edge growing techniques, an exceptionally high percentage of CBD can be produced naturally and consistently in the hemp plant. When natural CBD hemp oil is produced from these hemp cultivars”which can be grown legally in dozens of countries and whose oil can be imported to the USA legally” it doesn’t make legal or practical sense to obtain CBD oil from marijuana.

Will CBD help me with my illness?

Due to federal regulations, we cannot make claims about whether or not natural CBD hemp oil can help with specific ailments. We do, however, suggest that you conduct your own research.

Will CBD help me if I'm healthy?

Each individual is unique and has different wellness goals they are interested in addressing through the consumption and application of our products. Although some of our founders are medical professionals, we cannot make medical claims about the benefits of our products. The products sold from this website are considered nutritional supplements or personal care products, according to federal guidelines.

We encourage you to discuss natural CBD hemp oil with your physician or healthcare practitioner if you have any specific health-related questions or concerns. There are also many independent, peer-reviewed studies about CBD available on the internet.

Are CBD and THC the same thing?

No, they are different compounds. CBD and THC are both cannabinoids, but THC is the cannabinoid that gets you high or stoned. CBD is not psychoactive like THC, meaning it won’t get you high.

Can I get high from CBD products?

Our natural CBD hemp oil comes from carefully-cultivated hemp plants”not marijuana”which is why it is legal for us to import and use this natural CBD oil. Our supplier spent years developing special cultivars of the hemp that produce naturally high levels of CBD and only trace amounts of THC, the psychoactive compound that gives marijuana users the high feeling. For reference, most recreational cannabis plants have between 5% to over 20% THC.

Is your CBD synthetic?

No. Our CBD is a natural constituent of industrial hemp oil.

Can you make any claims about what CBD can do?

No. Our CBD is simply a natural constituent of industrial hemp oil.

I've never tried CBD. Where should I start?
